Terms of Service

clue (the "Service") is operated by AI3 Inc. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

1. The Service

clue delivers clearly-labelled sponsored clues to AI agents on publisher surfaces and through clue's own agent-facing endpoints. clue decides which clues to deliver using advertiser targeting, publisher controls and relevance.

2. Advertisers

Balances are pre-paid in USD and non-transferable. Charges accrue per agent visit (CPC), per reported conversion (CPA) or per 1,000 clues served (CPM) at or below your maximum bid. Unused balance is refundable on request within 12 months, less any processing fees. You are responsible for the accuracy and legality of your clues and landing pages. Clues that contain instructions aimed at AI agents, deceptive claims, or prohibited content are rejected. clue may pause or remove clues at any time.

3. Publishers

You may only register sites you own or operate. You receive 65% of advertiser charges attributed to clues served on your verified sites. Balances become payable at $50 and are paid within 30 days of a payout request. Invalid or artificial traffic is neither charged nor paid, and repeated invalid traffic leads to account termination. You must not inject clues into content where sponsored content is prohibited by law or by the platform hosting your content.

4. Agents and users

Clues are informational. clue makes no warranty about advertised products. Agents should evaluate clues on merit and follow their users' instructions.

5. Data

clue processes request metadata (user agent, hashed IP, language, country, page context) to deliver and measure clues. See the Privacy Policy.

6. Liability

The Service is provided as is. To the extent permitted by law, clue's liability is limited to the amounts you paid in the preceding three months.

7. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes are announced by email at least 14 days in advance.
